Previous Medical Mission Trips To UGANDA

Year 2018

There is always a FIRST in everything. For Precious Kids
Foundation, September 2018 was A FIRST… our FIRST
Medical Mission Trip…with an international volunteer
team of 12 (We had 10 adults and 2 kids, 10 yrs and
12yrs) The team travelled from far and wide,
from Germany, Alabama, California, Oklahoma,
North Carolina and Kenya. Being our first, we figured things as
we went, the FIRST medical camp was 5-Days, treating
over 4,700 patients in 3 different districts of
Nkokonjeru, Mutundwe and Mpigi, spanning from
Eastern to Central Uganda. They impacted massively
and after a 21-Day trip, the volunteers returned home
FULL… they impacted and were impacted!

They loved and were loved on.

Year 2019

Treating over 5,000 patients in Sept 2019 was nothing short of a miracle. This 3-Day Medical camp in the
slums of Masese, Jinja District, in Eastern Uganda
attracted patients from surrounding districts as well as
3 islands that don’t have access to medical facilities.
The local leadership of Eastern Uganda was grateful for
the team of 8 international volunteers who gave of their
time, expertise, and of their love to the people of
Uganda. They traveled from Arkansas, California,
Oklahoma, and Texas. This was the year we solidified
our commitment to serving impoverished communities
and taking on kids that have cancer and other life-
threatening illnesses to treat them, preventing
premature deaths in countless kids.

2019 was the year of redefining the mission of BEYOND Medical missions

Year 2020

Amidst the COVID pandemic in August 2020, we conducted a 1-day medical outreach in Buikwe, Uganda, where over 400 patients received the much-needed FREE medical care. Many were in critical condition, many were referred to our Advanced Care Referral Program in acute care settings.

In 2020, due to the pandemic travel restrictions, we couldn’t take our “usual” international team of volunteers and also gatherings were only limited to a maximum of 500 people.

Despite the massive challenges faced, our commitment still stood providing the MUCH-NEEDED FREE medical care to countless patients who came desperately seeking for medical help and NO ONE was turned away!

Year 2023

When a team of 8 flew to Uganda for this 10-Day medical Mission Trip, they were not ready for what awaited them. In just a 3-day medical camp, a total number of over 3,700 patients were treated when a team of 5 adults and 3 children teamed up with almost 100 medical professionals from across Uganda’s distant communities all gathering in Wabwoko, Kayunga District, Eastern Uganda during the April 2023 Precious Kids Medical Camp.

The team travelled far and wide from Switzerland, California and Utah, all united with one common goal, to love on and to serve the people of Uganda. Our then 13-yr old Switzerland Ambassador of BEYOND Medical missions brought her mother and her 11-year-old sister to show her why she fell in love with the kids of Uganda since the time we met in early 2020. She leads the Switzerland penpal program.
